Wii: 2nd December (Japan)
That’s the launch date for Japan. Costs about £125. You’ll get the following: Wii console, Wii remote control (with strap), nunchaku controller, Wii AC Adapter, Wii AV Cable, Wii console stand and support plate, Sensor Bar and stand, AA batteries x2. The pricing and date for outside of Japan will be announced shortly via the various Nintendo branches, according to the home site. Here’s what you can do with Wii (Europe version’s still in development).
16 titles are set to be released at the same time as the console launch, among them, much awaited titles such as Zelda: Twilight Princess, Odoru Made in Wario (Odoru, means dance), Elebits, Red Steel, Wii Sports, and Super Monkey Ball. DQ Swords is due to come out next spring, as is a Bomberman game. Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. X, Mario Party 8 and Metroid Prime 3 among others are set for a next year release.
