FF XIII’s title, a bit of a mouthful?

The number of spam comments that I filter through daily has increased steadily over the last few weeks. Why is it Bollywood ringtones though, eh? Talking of spam, I seem to be getting an unreasonable amount of in-game spam on WoW too – always about cheap in-game gold. Fuck off!

First up is the news that Nintendo MP3 Player’s coming out, simlutaneously as the DS Browser, in Europe. If Famitsu can be believed, the Japanese version’s all popular over there – whether this will hold true over here looks to be another matter. No definite release date as of yet.

Etrian Odyssey, known as 世界樹の迷宮 in native Japan, will be going across the Pacific to American shores sometime early next year. For the DS, costing approx. £26 (in Japan, out this autumn), and categorised as an Action/RPG, looks to be quite interesting for those of us who like RPGs but don’t really like the tamer turn-based ones. Us across the Atlantic, can hope, I guess. (Another RPG for the DS, Luminous Arc will be coming out sometime this winter.)

On the 14th, Nintendo’s set to do a little conference on Wii, and promised to give us the release dates/pricing by the end of the month. But that’s in Japan. Similar conferences are to be held in New York and London.

Square Enix, for the Tokyo Game Show 2006 (held at Makuhari Messe, 22nd to 24th), will have quite a few playable games at their booths. The public will be welcome on the latter two days between 10am and 5pm – anyone who’s a junior high school student or over will have to pay 1,200yen for entry (anyone younger, free). Some of the line-up is as follows: DQ Monsters Joker, Legend of Mana 4, Chocobo and the Magic Picture Book (チョコボと魔法の絵本), FF XI Treasures of Ahturghan, FF III, FF V Advance, FF VI Advance, and FABULA NOVA CRYSTALLIS FINAL FANTASY XIII. Click here for their official site and line-up (click on each one to see details), or see this for some of the screenshots. (FF V Advance is coming out for the GBA on 12th October, by the way.)

PS – Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this in my earlier posts, but back in August, saw a sequel of that Brain Training game. Will we get a sequel here? Or is it only for the puzzle-crazed people of Robot Monster Land?

ah, just stumbled across your blog as I looked for some infos for Luminous Arc.

Especially the OST, there is a song on the website atm out of the game and I’m searching and searching if there is anyone who has this song as an mp3 and midi. Because I also wanted to play it on my piano.

    Hi Micha,

I’ve managed to track down little bits of info concerning the music from the game, so I’ve updated the blog today :)
